EasyMyTrip sees 'blockbuster quarter' this festive season, to focus on hotels business

New-Delhi based travel platform EaseMyTrip is expecting a 'blockbuster quarter' this festive season with uptick in bookings for the upcoming Christmas week showing a year-on-year surge of 20-30%.

In a chat with CNBC-TV18, Prashant Pitti, Co-founder of EaseMyTrip said this surge in reservations signals a growing enthusiasm for festive travel plans among consumers as the travel industry continues its rebound.
Pitti also talked about the plan to explore acquisitions in the hotel business, which contributes nearly 10% to its revenue and is currently experiencing exponential growth.

EaseMyTrip had earlier this month collaborated with telecom major Vodafone Idea (Vi) to introduce exclusive travel offers for its subscribers, covering special deals on flights, domestic and international hotels, train reservations, bus bookings, and cab services.
As an introductory offer, Vi informed customers that no convenience fees would be levied on flight bookings, further boosting sales of the travel deals.
Established in 2008, EaseMyTrip, an internet-based travel company headquartered in New Delhi, continues to demonstrate its resilience and growth in the dynamic travel landscape.
