Full-service carrier Vistara has announced that it has launched daily flights to Hong Kong from Delhi International Airport. The inaugural flight, an A321 neo aircraft commenced from Delhi airport on October 29 and arrived at Hong Kong on October 30.
"The launch of direct connectivity to Hong Kong is in line with our strategy of steadily growing our international network. Hong Kong being amongst the world's top commercial hubs, attracts a lot of business, MICE and VFR travel from India, besides being a popular leisure destination," Vistara CEO Vinod Kannan said in a release.
Vistara, a joint venture between Tatas and Singapore Airlines, has a fleet of 63 aircraft, including 48 Airbus A320neos, 10 Airbus A321s and 5 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.

DGCA announces winter season schedule of international carriers
Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) released the complete winter schedule of international airlines and said that over all 2,336 weekly flights to and from 23 Indian cities have been schedule during winter.
Around 50 foreign airlines will be operating 2,336 weekly flights to and from various Indian cities. The winter schedule commenced on October 29, 2023 and will continue until March 30, 2024. A total of 80 scheduled foreign carriers will be operating flights to and from 23 stations during the 2023-24 winter schedule compared to 75 overseas airlines in the 2022-23 winter schedule.
