There is good news for devotees who wish to visit Ayodhya for the inauguration of Ram Temple. As the highly-anticipated concecration set for January 22 approaches, the Indian Railways is gearing up for an extensive operation, with plans to run over 1,000 special trains from various parts of the country to facilitate the pilgrimage for Hindu devotees.

According to a report in Times of India, the operation of these trains will kick off on January 19, spanning the first 100 days of the grand inauguration, ensuring that devotees have ample of opportunities to visit the holy city.
Special trains will connect major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Nagpur, Lucknow, and Jammu, to Ayodhya. The paper cited sources as saying, "The number of these proposed trains can be deployed considering the demand. The station at Ayodhya has been revamped to cater to the high number of footfalls."

In addition to transportation arrangements, the Indian Railways' catering and ticketing department is working around the clock to provide services during the 10-15 days of the inauguration, anticipating an influx of devotees.
Authorities are planning to set up numerous food stalls to meet demands of devotees during and after the inauguration of Ram Mandir.
The redeveloped Ayodhya railway station, capable of handling a daily footfall of around 50,000 passengers, is expected to be fully operational by January 15.
Following the consecration of Lord Sri Ram's idol on January 22, the temple will be open to the public from January 23. The ground level of the grand temple being built at a cost of Rs 1,800 crore is slated for completion by the yesr-end.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the ceremony to install the idol of Ram Lalla.
The Ram Mandir Trust is overseeing arrangements for the inauguration. Devotees will have the opportunity to see Lord Ram Lalla from a distance of 320 feet, with special arrangements for prasad distribution to mark the momentous day. Darshan for the idol will be organized for nearly 2 lakh people daily.
