President Droupadi Murmu on Friday inaugurated the Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2024 in Haryana's Surajkund, which opened to the public today.
Organised by the Haryana Tourism Department, the colourful festival that brings the artisans and craftsmen from across the country under one venue, promises an unforgettable experience in its 37th edition this year.
Since its inception in 1987, the fair has served as a thriving marketplace, in Delhi's neighbourhood Faridabad, for the artisans and craftsmen to exhibit their products and skills. The Mela has become a prominent venue to showcase India's cultural diversity and rich heritage.
