The Diwali festivities are not over yet as the festival of Bhai Dooj, dedicated to the bonding of brothers and sisters, is here. The festival cherishes a unique bond between the brother and the sister.
The day also marks the end of the five-day Diwali festivities in many states. The festive day is also known as Bhai Dooj or Bhau Beej, Bhai Dwitiya and Yama Dwitiya.
As per the Hindu calendar, Bhai Dooj is observed on the Shukla Paksha Dwitiya Tithi in the month of Kartik. This year, Bhai Dooj will be celebrated on November 14.
On this day, sisters put tilak on the foreheads of their brothers for their long life, and brothers in return, give gifts to their sisters.
Here are the best wishes and messages to send them to your brothers and sisters to mark the day as a memorable occasion.
