Xiaomi teases Redmi 13 Note Pro+ with IP68 rating, 200MP camera
Xiaomi has teased its upcoming smartphone lineup, the Redmi Note 13 Pro series, which will launch in India on January 4.

Heading the lineup will be the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, promising great cameras, build quality, a fairly decent processor and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Pro boast a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. The devices also sport a 200-megapixel main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro camera, as well as a front-facing 16-megapixel camera.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor — reportedly the first smartphone in the world to be powered by the processor — while the Note 13 Pro, is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.
When it comes to storage and memory, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ offers three variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and another 16GB + 512GB configuration. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is available in an array of options, ranging from 8GB + 128GB to 16GB + 512GB.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Pro models differ slightly in battery and charging capabilities. The Pro+ version packs a 5,000mAh battery with lightning-fast 120W fast-charging support, while the Pro model features a larger 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support.
On the software front, both smartphones will run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 straight out of the box. Xiaomi is expected to offer three years of software updates and security patches for the smartphones.
