Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Xiaomi’s Redmi 6A model will go on sale for the first time in India on Wednesday. The affordable smartphone that was introduced earlier will be available at both, company website and amazon from 12 pm.
The smartphone's basic variant, priced at Rs 5999 will come with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage facility.
The model will also have a second variant that has 32 GB storage capacity and is priced at Rs 6999. In addition it can expand its storage capacity by up to 256 GB using microSD cards.
The model will come with a 3000mAh battery and will have Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6 operating system. It will have a 5.45-inch HD+ (720x1440-pixel) display and have a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP selfie camera. It will be available in four color variants, black, blue, rose and rose gold.
In addition, in order to make the mobile more attractive to the buyers, Jio customers are provided with 100 GB additional data and instant cashback worth Rs. 2,200.
