Xiaomi 14 Ultra to launch globally on February 25: Here is what we know so far
The Xiaomi 14 series will be launched for the global markets on February 25 at the Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.

The Chinese smartphone maker shared the announcement on X (previously Twitter) on Sunday, February 18, suggesting that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could also be launched globally.
The flagship device from Xiaomi has previously only had China releases.
A report from Mysmartprice suggests that the device has received its BIS certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards and is confirmed to launch in India.
Xiaomi also put an end to the speculation on what the smartphone would look like and showed off two colourways of the upcoming device.
Before the global launch, the Xiaomi 14 series will make its debut in China on February 22.
Here is what we know about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra so far
Xiaomi has confirmed that this year’s flagship, like its predecessors, will have the cameras co-engineered by Leica with the lens-maker’s branding on the back. The images of the smartphone show four lenses on the camera setup and according to rumours, all four of them are expected to be 50MP. Along with the main sensor, users can expect two telephoto lenses — 75mm and 120mm — and an ultrawide sensor. The front camera is rumoured to be 32MP.
The display on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be a 2K 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. In line with the other global flagships, Xiaomi is also likely to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
While Xiaomi showed off the variants with leather back, according to Mysmartprice, a Weibo post suggests that only the top 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model will have the leather back design. The lower 16GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB variants will still be sporting a glass back.
The battery on the device is expected to be 5,300mAh with 90W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
Out of the box, it will run on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS UI based on Android 14.
