vivo, the smartphone giant, has officially launched the latest generation of its flagship lineup. The X100 and X100 Pro are expected to launch in India early in January. The X100 and X100 Pro are also the first smartphones in the world to be powered by MediaTek's flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9300.
The X100 and X100 Pro boast a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+ support, and a variable refresh rate of 120Hz. The display also supports up to 3000 nits peak brightness — the highest yet on a smartphone. The X100 series comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Both smartphones will run the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out of the box.
The X100 features a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera with up to 100x digital zoom. Meanwhile, the X100 Pro boasts a 50MP 1-inch primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with up to 100x digital zoom. Both phones offer a 32MP front camera.
Both smartphones feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers, and are rated IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. As for the battery, the X100 packs a 5,000mAh battery, while the X100 Pro has a 5,400mAh battery.
