Taiwan-based Vertux, a lifestyle gaming company, has entered the Indian gaming market through a collaboration with Amazon India. In a press release, Vertux said it will introduce a range of professional-grade gaming products, including keyboards, headphones, mice, mousepads, and other accessories at "affordable prices".
Vertux's suite of gaming accessories will be accessible for purchase on Amazon starting December 18, 2023. Vertux is looking to cash in on the burgeoning gaming community in the country. "With the gaming sector experiencing substantial growth in player engagement and revenue, Vertux's cutting-edge products aim to elevate the gaming experience, enhancing performance both at home and in competitive tournaments," the press release read.
"India's gaming sector is witnessing rapid growth, with nearly 500 million individual gamers. Vertux recognises this as an opportune moment to bring its robust portfolio of gaming devices to the Indian market. What sets Vertux Gaming apart is our diverse product range, providing gamers with the freedom to design their ideal gaming experience," Gopal Jeyaraj, Head of Sales India and SAARC at Vertux, stated.
According to the 'Gaming Accessories Market' report by Allied Market Research, the global gaming accessories market, valued at $6.1 billion in 2021, is projected to reach $14.4 billion by 2030, with a 9.9% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) from 2022 to 2030. The Asia-Pacific region, notably, is expected to maintain its status as the fastest-growing segment throughout the forecast period.
Vertux has a presence in over 50 countries globally. The company specialises in manufacturing and designing gaming computer accessories, encompassing keyboards, mice, mousepads, headsets, speakers, microphones, stands, chargers, cables, and webcams.
