South Korean electronics giant Samsung on Tuesday added to its Galaxy smartphone portfolio with the A05. Priced at ₹12,499 for the 6GB + 128 GB variant and ₹9,999 for the 4GB+64 GB variant, the Galaxy A05 features a 6.7” HD+ display, a 5000 mAh battery, and a 50MP wide-angle camera, the company said in a press release.
The Galaxy A05 is powered by a MediaTek G85 processor and comes in two storage variants, 4GB+64 GB and 6GB+128GB, with the RAM Plus feature offering extra virtual RAM of up to 6GB.
The camera setup of the Galaxy A05 includes a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth-sensing camera for portrait shots. The displayhouses an 8MP selfie camera. The device boasts a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting up to 25W Super-Fast Charging. The Galaxy A05 features the popular Galaxy Signature design, with a linear patterned back, and will be available in Light Green, Silver, and Black.
The smartphone also has features like face unlock and comes with four years of security updates and two generations of OS upgrades. The Galaxy A05 will be available for purchase at Samsung exclusive and retail stores, Samsung.com, and other online portals.
As part of launch offers, consumers can avail no-cost EMI using Samsung Finance+ and other EMI options with participating banks and NBFCs, starting at ₹875 per month. Additionally, customers using SBI credit cards get a limited-time cashback of ₹ 1,000.
