According to a press note, the smartphones are expected to come with flagship features, premium design and powerful processors.
The upcoming Galaxy A devices will likely feature a design inspired by the Galaxy S24 series — with flat side rails and a refreshed finish. Samsung also added that both smartphones will have an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance. They will also feature a stronger Gorilla Glass compared to last year’s Gorilla Glass 5.
They will also offer four OS updates and five years of security updates. Out of the box, they are expected to run on Android 14-based OneUI 6.1.
According to a report from Mysmartprice, users can expect both smartphones to have an FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A35 will have a 6.6-inch screen and the Galaxy A55 is likely to sport a 6.5-inch panel.
Both devices will also pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. They will feature Exynos chipsets.
The Galaxy A35 is expected to have 6GB and 8GB RAM options and storage options of 128 GB and 256 GB. The Galaxy A55, on the other hand, could only have a single 256 GB storage. Both devices are expected to have a microSD card slot to expand storage up to 1TB.
Users can expect a triple camera setup for both smartphones with a 50MP main sensor.
The price for the upcoming devices is expected to be under ₹30,000.
