Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G, part of the 2024 Galaxy A series. The new series focuses on providing the latest Galaxy innovations at an affordable price, aiming to make advanced technology accessible to a wider audience, Samsung said in a press release.
The Galaxy A15 5G succeeds the Galaxy A14 5G, recognised as India's top-selling 5G smartphone by Counterpoint Research. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A25 5G features a Super AMOLED display with Vision Booster technology, a 50MP triple camera setup, a 5000mAh battery, and security tools like Knox Vault.
Both the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G showcase Samsung's signature design philosophy, with the former sporting a glastic back panel and haze finish, while the latter features a glossy prism pattern back panel. The devices come in a range of colours, with the Galaxy A15 5G available in Blue Black, Blue, and Light Blue, and the Galaxy A25 5G in Blue Black, Blue, and Yellow.

The displays of both models provide vibrant and smooth viewing experiences, with the Galaxy A15 5G featuring a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Vision Booster and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A25 5G boasts a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with up to 1,000 nits brightness, enhanced with Vision Booster for clear outdoor visibility.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G both sport a 50MP triple camera setup. The Galaxy A25 5G additionally features a 13MP front camera. Notable photo-editing features include Single Take, Remaster, Object Eraser, and Image Clipper, providing users with versatile tools for on-the-go editing.
Security and privacy are prioritized with the inclusion of the Knox Security platform and Knox Vault chipset. Both devices offer up to four generations of OS upgrades and up to five years of security updates. The Secure Folder feature provides a private and encrypted space for storing sensitive data.
Both the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G come with features such as Quick Share, Private Share, and the new Samsung Wallet. The devices are equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, ensuring prolonged usage.
The Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G will be available for purchase from January 1, 2024, across retail stores, Samsung.com, and various online platforms.
