Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will be launched in India on January 4. The series was first released in China and other regions in September and the company claims that it has since sold over 338 million units globally.

In China, the Redmi Note 13 starts at 1,199 yuan (approximately 13,900), the Indian pricing is expected to be in a similar range.
The Pro model, with enhanced features, commands a starting price of 1,499 yuan (approximately 17,400), while the top-tier Redmi Note 13 Pro+ begins at 1,999 yuan (approximately 22,800) in China.
Going by the global variants, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Redmi Note 13 Pro feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, while its counterpart, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.
When it comes to storage and memory, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ offers three variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and another 16GB + 512GB configuration. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is available in an array of options, ranging from 8GB + 128GB to 16GB + 512GB.
The cameras on the series include a 200MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie camera on the front is a 16MP shooter on both devices.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Pro models differ slightly in battery and charging capabilities. The Pro+ version packs a 5,000mAh battery with lightning-fast 120W fast-charging support, while the Pro model features a larger 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast-charging support.
On the software front, both smartphones will run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 straight out of the box.
