After Samsung and Huawei, Oppo is planning to launch a foldable phone to the market, reported Gadgets 360.
The report mentioned that vice president Brian Shen showcased a prototype of a foldable phone by Oppo which looks quite similar to the Huawei Mate X that was unveiled at a pre-MWC conference in Barcelona on Sunday.
Shen posted the images of the prototype on Weibo which features an outward-wrapped flexible display that provided two screens when folded and a single screen experience when unfolded, the report said.
The foldable phone prototype would let users capture selfies and landscape shots using the same camera module and it appears to have a thick bar on one side that includes a camera module. It also appears that the prototype has a dual-LED flash. There is a new ColorOS version backed by Android. The price is yet to be revealed.
