A successor to the OnePlus Watch is expected to hit the market soon, according to a new teaser from the company.
OnePlus shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) with a silhouette of a watch, saying, “It’s about time”. The company also posted a contest on its Community Forum, asking users to guess what the product is with wrong answers only and the best wrong answer will win a prize.

The contest is open till 5 pm on February 26 for users in India, North America and Europe, suggesting a potential launch date and markets.
Reliable tipster Max Jambor also shared earlier that OnePlus would release its next smartwatch during the Mobile World Congress 2024. He also said that the OnePlus Watch 2 (which is what we’re hoping it will be called) will run on Google’s WearOS 4.
The smartwatch is rumoured to sport a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a circular dial and is likely to run on the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset. It could retain GPS, IP68 water and dust resistance from its predecessor, with health tracking features and more. A bigger battery at 402 mAh is also expected.
The will be OnePlus’ first smartwatch since it launched the OnePlus Watch in 2021. Since then, the company has gone through several ups and downs and it looks like it has finally found its footing.
The Chinese smartphone maker introduced new product categories last year with the OnePlus Pad and the OnePlus Pad Go tablets, and the OnePlus Open foldable.
It has already made its mark with smartphones and audio wearables, and getting a fresh smartwatch on the catalogue could be a good start for 2024.
Its main competitors in the Indian market will be the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 starting at ₹29,999 and the Google Pixel Watch 2 at ₹35,990. A similar — or lower if you know OnePlus — pricing can be expected for the upcoming OnePlus Watch as well.
