Nothing to launch Phone (2a) on March 5
London-based consumer/lifestyle tech company Nothing will launch its next smartphone, the Phone (2a), on March 5. The smartphone will be launched in an event titled "Fresh Eyes" at 5 pm IST.

Nothing Founder Carl Pei took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news on February 1, saying the company has an “exciting roadmap” for 2024 and the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) is only the beginning.
The device was spotted on the TUV certification website by MySmartPrice in January, which revealed that it is expected to have a 45W charging speed.
Pei first hinted at a smartphone release on January 1 on X (formerly Twitter) alongside an image of what appears to be a dragon. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the phone will likely run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. Rumours also suggest that the device could come in three variants — 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB and priced in the 23,000-27,000 price bracket.
It is expected to run on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14 and might come with three years of OS updates and four years of security patches — standard for Nothing.
This will be the company's third smartphone launch after the Nothing Phone (1) and the Nothing Phone (2) since it came into being in October 2020.
Additionally, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF by Nothing announced it will be launching Neckband Pro and Buds soon, without revealing anything else.
