Zerodha’s Nikhil Kamath congratulates OpenAI CEO Sam Altman on his wedding, shares throwback White House photo
Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath on Friday took to social media to congratulate OpenAI CEO Sam Altman on his marriage with his long-time partner Oliver Mulherin. Altman married Mulherin at his $43 million Hawaii estate in a private ceremony, according to reports.

Multiple photographs of the wedding ceremony in Kailua-Kona in Hawaii were widely circulated on social media on Thursday, January 11.
Kamath shared a throwback image of himself with Altman and Mulherin from the White House State Dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Instagram stories and mentioned Altman in his message.
Last year, they had attended the state dinner at the White House hosted for PM Modi. Kamath was among the several dignitaries who accompanied the Indian delegation.
On the other hand, the viral images of the wedding ceremony showed the couple surrounded by palm trees and about a dozen guests. Altman can be seen putting a ring on Mulherin's finger, while the former's brother Jack officiated the ceremony.
Both Altman and Mulherin donned crisp white shirts at the venue which had floral decoration.
Altman, 38, kept his relationship with Mulherin -- an Australian software engineer -- private for a long time.
The duo split their time between San Francisco and a ranch in Napa, California, the New York Times reported.
Who is Oliver Mulherin?
A software engineer by profession, Mulherin holds a degree in computer science from the University of Melbourne.
Between August 2020 and November 2022, he worked as a software engineer for Meta, as per his LinkedIn profile.
Also, he has previously helmed several AI projects from language detection to video games, when he was in Australia.
