MSI announces the launch of its first gaming handheld and new lineup of AI Powered laptops

The lineup also expands the use of 14th Gen HX-series processors across its new mainstream gaming and creator models, all equipped with Nvidia’s RTX 40 series graphics.

MSI announces the launch of its first gaming handheld and new lineup of AI Powered laptops
Global laptop brand MSI, on Wednesday, announced the launch of its first gaming handheld device, Claw. This is the world’s first gaming handheld device to be powered by the Intel Core Ultra Processor.

Calw features a 7-inch FHD touchscreen display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. According to MSI, it can offer up to two hours of battery life on a single charge under full workload conditions. The device is also equipped with MSI Cooler Boost Hyperflow thermal technology that allows it to offer optimal performance and cool internal components when the workload is heavy.
Additionally, the company also launched its latest AI-powered laptops lineup, with the NPU(Neural Processing Unit) built-in Intel Core Ultra processor. It includes MSI’s first-ever 18-inch gaming laptops, featuring Intel 14th Gen HX-series processors.
The lineup also expands the use of 14th Gen HX-series processors across its new mainstream gaming and creator models, all equipped with Nvidia’s RTX 40 series graphics.
MSI has also launched the exclusive AI-driven software – the MSI AI Engine, which is said to optimise laptop settings based on the application in use, enhancing user experience. Along with that MSI also introduces AI Artist, an offline text-to-image service for content creators that offers features like image-to-image, image-to-text, and exporting layered PSD files.
Furthermore, the AI Noise Cancellation Pro allows for studio-quality voice for remote meetings or professional recording, even in noisy environments, with customisable microphone pickup positions, merging advanced microphone hardware with AI-powered noise cancellation software.

New 18-inch Gaming Laptops: Titan, Raider, and Stealth Series
The latest 18-inch gaming laptop lineup features the Titan 18 HX, Raider 18 HX, and Stealth 18 AI Studio, equipped with top-tier Intel 14th gen Core i9 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics. Noteworthy features include the world's first 18-inch 4K 120Hz mini LED display. Each model boasts a distinct design, such as the Titan 18 HX's Seamless RGB Haptic Touchpad and the Raider 18 HX's iconic matrix light bar. Constructed with durable magnesium-aluminum alloy, these laptops combine sleek aesthetics with robust build quality.
High-Powered Gaming: Vector, Crosshair, and Pulse Series
The Vector 17 HX features MSI Overboost technology and 250W total power output. Meanwhile, the Crosshair HX and Pulse AI series showcase innovative thermal designs to optimise airflow for peak performance. These models also feature striking designs, including 24-zone RGB keyboard backlighting.
Expanding into Mainstream Gaming: Sword, Cyborg, and Thin Series
The Sword 16/17 HX comes with a space grey finish and a 24-zone RGB backlit keyboard. The Cyborg 15 AI combines futuristic style with its translucent chassis. On the other hand, the Thin 15 provides a sleek gaming solution with its portable design and translucent WASD blue backlit keyboard. Additionally, MSI introduces the Cyborg 14, offering accessibility in a stylish 14-inch option.
Empowering Productivity: Prestige Series
Leading the lineup is the ultralight Prestige 16 AI, boasting a robust 99.9WHr battery, promising up to 19 hours of battery life. The Prestige 14 AI features the largest battery (90Whrs) in its class, along with support for up to PD 3.1 140W Charging. Additionally, the Prestige 13 AI Evo is said to offer remarkable battery life and bright OLED displays.
Revamped Content Creation Series
The Creator Z17 HX Studio stands out with its vapour chamber cooler thermal design, offering powerful performance. The Creator 16 AI Studio features a 16:10 OLED display for enhanced visual precision in a highly portable package. With the Creator M14 and Creator M16 HX laptops, MSI provides creators with a diverse range of choices to meet their content creation needs.
