Motorola recently confirmed the launch date for its upcoming smartphone, the Edge 50 Pro. The device is set to launch at noon on April 3. It will be available on Flipkart, Motorola’s official online retail partner, and all leading retail stores, the company had said previously.
According to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro’s landing page on Flipkart, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It features a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
The back features a triple camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide and a macro lens. The telephoto camera is also said to have optical image stabilisation (OIS) and 30x hybrid zoom. On the front is another 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Without mentioning the battery capacity, Motorola states that the device will support 125W fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless power sharing. It is also rated IP68 for water and dust resistance.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will run on Android 14-based Hello UI — which will replace MyUX — with three years of OS upgrades.
More details, including price, are only expected after the launch of the device.
