Chinese consumer electronics maker Xiaomi on Sunday launched for international markets its new AI-enhanced and photography-geared 14 Series smartphone, along with other wearable gadgets.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, a standout in the lineup, boasts a distinctive circular camera module. It sports a large 1-inch sensor and three more cameras, all developed in collaboration with Leica. It boasts a 50MP Sony LYT900 primary camera along with two 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto zoom lenses and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter at the back. A 32MP front camera has been housed for selfies and video calls.
Available in classic Black and White colours, it features a 6.73-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a variable 1-120Hz refresh rate.
The handset packs a 5,000 mAh battery, supported by 90W wired fast charging. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, pairing well with an Adreno 750 GPU for efficiency.
Complementing the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is its compact counterpart, the Xiaomi 14. Available in Black, White, and Jade Green, its 6.36-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate.
Its triple-camera configuration on the back is led by a 50MP Leica sensor paired with a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. On the front, there's a 32MP selfie shooter.
Both devices feature Xiaomi HyperOS for an optimised user experience. They also integrate large AI models into various applications, including a tool that enables real-time transcriptions from conferences, or another function allowing users to describe a photo for the AI to locate it in their gallery.

Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra will include 4 generations of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
The Xiaomi 14 and the 14 Pro will officially launch in India on March 7. The Chinese smartphone maker has not yet confirmed if the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will also launch in the country, However, rumours suggest that the device was spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification.
Xiaomi last year was placed third globally for share of the smartphone market, accounting for 12.5% of global shipments, behind leader Apple at 20.1% and Samsung in second with 19.4% market share, according to IDC.
In addition to its flagship smartphones, Xiaomi introduces the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4. Featuring a Graphite Gray design, the tablet boasts a 12.4-inch 144Hz 3K display.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and equipped with a 10,000mAh battery supported by 120W HyperCharge. With Xiaomi HyperOS at its core, the device introduces features such as Home screen+, Cross-device collaboration, and Xiaomi Smart Hub, aimed at enhancing user productivity and interconnectivity.
Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 starts from 699 euros and available in Graphite Gray.
Additionally, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 is complemented by essential accessories including the Xiaomi Focus Pen and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro Touchpad Keyboard.
The company on Sunday also unveiled new wearable products, including the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, Xiaomi Watch S3, and Xiaomi Watch 2, which it says are suitable for sports, health and wellness activities.
