The Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024) will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from February 26 to February 29, 2024. The MWC 2024 promises to showcase a plethora of brands with exciting products and new phone launches.
Honor has already confirmed the launch of its flagship Magic 6 Pro on February 25. Tecno is also gearing up to showcase its second-generation products at the event. Besides that, vivo, Oppo and realme are also expected to feature their line-ups as well.
Motorola might showcase a bendable device that can be worn like a bracelet. While details about the launch of this as a real product remain unconfirmed, the concept is rumoured to be displayed at MWC.
OnePlus has a history of showcasing quirky concept versions of its devices at MWC. While OnePlus might not flaunt a concept smartphone this year, the brand did confirm that it will be launching its second-generation smartwatch dubbed the OnePlus Watch 2 at the event.
Samsung gave a first peek at the Galaxy Ring, a wearable device, at its Galaxy Unpacked show in January. MWC might offer a closer look at this wearable or similar offering from other brands, sparking a trend in smart wearables like rings, necklaces or even smart nose piercings.
The flagship Xiaomi 14 series will be launched globally on February 25 at MWC in Barcelona, including the much-anticipated Xiaomi 14 Ultra which launched in China on Friday.
Moreover, Xiaomi’s foray into the automotive market is anticipated to be highlighted at MWC, showcasing the Xiaomi SU7, its first electric vehicle, as part of the company’s ambitious plans to become one of the top five car manufacturers globally.
HMD is evolving beyond its Nokia phone legacy, and at MWC 2024, the brand is expected to debut its multi-brand products. While HMD will continue to produce Nokia phones, we can also anticipate the introduction of HMD-branded phones in the market.
