Mobile World Congress 2024: Motorola is at it again, this time with a phone that bends
Motorola continues to lead the charge in innovative display technology with the unveiling of its adaptive display concept at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona.

First introduced to the world in October 2023 at Lenovo Tech World '23, this concept revolves around an FHD+ pOLED display that can be bent and shaped into various forms to cater to users' diverse needs.
This device builds upon Motorola's history of display and mechanical innovations, drawing from the successes of its foldable and rollable devices.
This year's bendable smartphone can seamlessly transform from a standard Android phone experience in a flat position to various other configurations. In its flat state, the 6.9-inch display offers users a traditional smartphone experience, running a full Android interface.
However, the versatility of the device truly shines when it is manipulated into different forms. When positioned upright, the device automatically adjusts into a self-standing position, presenting users with a more compact 4.6-inch display while still running a streamlined version of the Android operating system.

Moreover, users have the option to wrap the device around their wrist, akin to the external display on the Motorola razr+, facilitating a convenient wrist-worn experience to stay connected on the go. A blessing for those who cannot always find pockets to fit their phones in to keep their hands free.
Last year at the MWC, Motorola showcased its rollable concept phone dubbed the Moto Rizr. The device featured a 5-inch display that could be rolled up to a 6.5-inch display with just a double tap.
