iPhone 16 Pro Rumours: Apple could ditch Blue Titanium for a 'rose' variant

The iPhone 15 Pro series was the first time that Apple switched from glossy stainless steel side rails to matte titanium. This was also the first time since the iPhone XS that the series did not feature a gold colour variant and maybe that could change with the upcoming Pro offerings.

iPhone 16 Pro Rumours: Apple could ditch Blue Titanium for a 'rose' variant
Rumours suggest that Apple might shake up its colour lineup for the iPhone 16 Pro series. While it swaps out at least one colour every year, this time is particularly exciting as the tech giant will unveil its second year of titanium iPhones.

According to trusted Apple tipster ShrimpApplePro, a user on the Chinese social media platform Weibo shared that the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro series might dump the Blue Titanium — currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro series — and replace it wit a new, rose colour. The Weibo user was also “quite accurate” about the iPhone 14 Pro’s purple colour, according to ShrimpApplePro.
The user also suggested that Apple will feature a black colour variant similar to the one on the iPhone 14 Pro. The White titanium will also go back to the white/silver colour option that the 2022 series had. Additionally, the fan-favourite Natural Titanium is also expected to be a darker grey than the one on the iPhone 15 Pro.

Separately, Apple tracker 9To5Mac reported on Tuesday that an early case leak is hinting at the potential inclusion of a Capture button on the lower right side of the iPhone 16 Pro. This button is expected to provide convenient access to camera features, potentially freeing up the existing Action button for alternative functions. Apple also has a similar button on its mixed-reality headset, the Vision Pro.
As anticipation builds for Apple's new lineup, most likely to be launched in September, we eagerly await confirmation of these rumoured changes, envisioning what the iPhone 16 Pro might bring to the table.
