Indian mapping company Genesys International Corporation Ltd on Monday (December 28) said it has secured an order to implement its cutting-edge digital twin mapping technology for the redevelopment of Dharavi, recognised as Asia's most densely populated urban settlement.

The order, valued at ₹22 crore (excluding GST), has been given to Genesys by Porter House, underscoring the company's standing as a leading force in mapping innovation.


This strategic move aligns seamlessly with Mumbai city's objective of revitalising key areas, and it exemplifies Genesys' commitment to pushing the boundaries of mapping technology.

Dharavi, known for its dense population, is set to undergo a revolutionary transformation in landscape and urban planning with Genesys' advanced mapping technology at the forefront.

The project is slated to be completed within a swift timeframe of nine months, promising a radical metamorphosis of Dharavi's urban infrastructure. The Oyster 3D Maps platform, renowned for its precision and innovation, will play a pivotal role in this ambitious project.

Genesys has also launched the new India Map stack, targeting advanced platforms in consumer, logistics, automotive, and infrastructure areas. In addition to this, the company recently bagged the digital twin mandate for the holy shrine of Mecca from the Saudi government.
