Twitter owner Elon Musk announced on Sunday that the micro-blogging platform will fulfill its promise to soon share ad revenue from profile page views.
Musk's tweet read, "Soon, we will share ad revenue from profile page views, which should roughly double payouts."
He emphasized that only views from verified users would be counted, as it is essential to prevent view count manipulation through bots. Additionally, Musk revealed, "We will increase the rate limit for verified users by 50 percent. Should take effect within a few hours."As promised.Soon, we will share ad revenue from profile page views, which should roughly double payouts.Note, only views from verified users count, as it is otherwise trivial to bot scam the view count.

Twitter recently introduced a new ads revenue sharing program for creators, leading to significant payouts for several users. Grateful creators expressed their thanks to Musk and shared screenshots of the messages they received from the platform.
While some creators received substantial amounts, such as one who obtained $69,420, Musk clarified that the payouts were not based exactly on impressions. Instead, what mattered was the number of ads shown to other verified users.
Addressing Twitter's financial situation, Musk stated on Saturday that the platform was still experiencing negative cash flow due to a considerable drop in advertising revenue, along with a heavy debt load. He emphasized the need to achieve positive cash flow before considering other endeavors.
