The world of technology is rapidly evolving with new launches of gadgets almost every week. This week also witnessed many major launches of phones and accessories from top brands, including Apple and Motorola.

Here’s a list of this week’s major gadget releases and product updates:

Motorola has introduced its latest smartphone — the edge 40 neo. The phone will be available for purchase at 7 PM on September 28 at a starting price of Rs 23,999.

The edge 40 neo is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7030 chipset. This smartphone features a 6.55-inch curved-edge display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for mobile gamers. It boasts a 5,000 mAh battery that promises 36 hours of uptime. On the camera front, it has two rear lenses — a 50-megapixel main shooter and a 13-MP ultrawide snapper. Additionally, there's a 32 MP selfie camera on the front. The higher end of the latest Motorola phone is available at a storage combination of 12GB RAM and 256 GB memory.

Lava TWS earbuds

Lava has recently launched its newest product, the Probuds 22 truly wireless earbuds (TWS), under its hearable sub-brand, Probuds. The new earbuds have been priced at Rs 1,399 and are available in two colour options — Frost White and Space Black.

They also come with a fast-charging feature and offer 50 hours of playback time. The earbud case has a 500mAh battery capacity, and the company claims that just 10 minutes of charging can give you up to two hours of playback.

Jio AirFiber launch

Reliance Jio has recently launched a new service called AirFiber, which brings internet connectivity to remote and challenging-to-reach areas using their 5G network. Currently, AirFiber is available in eight major cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.

The Reliance AirFiber comes with a range of plans that not only provide internet access but also include access to popular OTT apps such as Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5, JioCinema, ALTBalaji, Eros Now, and many more. As part of the package, you'll receive a 4K Smart Set Top Box, a voice remote and a Wi-Fi router for free.

The most affordable Jio AirFiber plan starts at Rs 599 per month, but it comes with a speed cap of 30 Mbps. If you require higher speeds, Jio AirFiber offers a plan with a maximum speed of 1,000 Mbps, but this plan costs Rs 3,999 per month.

Apple rolls out iOS 17 update

Apple has just released the iOS 17 update for compatible iPhones users can now download and install this new version of the operating system. Although iOS 17 still looks like what you're used to, it comes with some significant new features and improvements. Some of the key highlights include Standby mode, contact posters, India-specific additions like bilingual Siri support, an improved experience for dual SIM users, updates to stickers, improvements to AirDrop, and enhancements to the keyboard.
