Acer unveils AI-ready Swift Go 14 laptop with Intel Core Ultra processors

The Acer Swift Go 14 weighs 1.32 kg and measures just 14.9 mm thin. The 14-inch laptop offers vibrant visuals with display options up to a 2.8K resolution OLED panel, featuring 100% DCI-P3, VESA Display HDR True Black 500 certification, and a 90 Hz refresh rate.

The Swift Go 14 also features a 1440p QHD webcam, which is said to be more responsive and requires less power from the device with AI-supported technology. “Acer PurifiedVoice technology to remove unwanted background noises and Acer PurifiedView to showcase the best on-screen appearances, enabling background blur, automatic framing, and gaze correction,” the company added.

According to Acer, the integration of Copilot in Windows 11 uses the power of AI to accelerate tasks, reduce friction, and save time. Users can expect personalised answers, inspiration, and task assistance across various applications, enhancing work, creation, and play. The laptop's essential connectivity ports include two USB Type-C, HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD slot, while Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Intel Bluetooth LE Audio deliver high-quality wireless network and audio connections.

Acer Chairman and CEO Jason Chen told CNBC-TV18 in a recent interview that the company wishes to be one of the first suppliers to bring AI-ready PCs to the market. With the Intel Core Ultra processors, Acer seems to be on track with its plans. These processors are designed to redefine power efficiency, computing capabilities, and AI experiences for laptops.

The Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-72) is set to hit North America in January 2024, with a starting price of $799.99. Europe, the Middle East and Africa regions can expect the device in December, starting at 1,199 euros.
