Following successful collaborations with Bollywood icons Sara Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan, as well as the dynamic duo Circuit and Munnabhai, ACKO General Insurance has now joined forces with acclaimed actor R Madhavan. The insurance company has named him the 'Voice of the Customer' in a strategic move to demystify complex insurance queries and empower customers to make informed decisions.

In an exclusive interview, R Madhavan expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership after understanding ACKO's revolutionary approach to insurance. He highlighted the company's commitment to transparency and customer-centricity, operating without traditional agents and striving to simplify the often intricate world of insurance.
"When I spoke to Varun Dua, Founder of ACKO, I realized that there was a completely dramatic new approach to insurance. The way Varun explained how ACKO looks at insurance in a completely different light makes it much more convenient for the consumer," Madhavan stated.
He emphasized the scientific approach that appealed to him and his eagerness to associate with a brand that prioritizes genuine customer benefits.
Varun Dua, the Founder of ACKO, explained the need for a trustworthy advocate to convey the brand's principles to consumers. He stressed the importance of authenticity, trustworthiness, and a cerebral quality, qualities he found in R Madhavan. Dua expressed excitement about the collaboration, foreseeing an interesting association that will resonate with customers.
"This explanation, truthfully of what is right, what is wrong for them, needed to be brought out to the customer, and we needed somebody who could deliver that message after genuinely understanding what we are doing and delivering that message to consumers, being that Voice of the Customers, looking at it from their perspective," Dua said.
Santosh Kumar, Country Manager for India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Indonesia Booking.com, also shared insights in an exclusive interview with Storyboard18. He discussed Booking.com's role as the official accommodation booking partner for ICC's Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, emphasizing the success of their focus on sports tourism.
Kumar outlined the strategic markets they have prioritized globally, including India, Australia, New Zealand, and England, to leverage the massive cricket fan base.
“The partnership with International Cricket Council (ICC) has been an ongoing one for the last five years where we have partnered with them on all their events across the world. Specifically for the World Cup, the highest priority is India obviously because most of the eye balls – 90% plus fans of cricket globally are located in India plus additionally we have a few focused markets like Australia and New Zealand as well and in Europe it will be England. It is helping us in all of those markets,” he explained.
