India's organic food industry is now worth Rs 5,000 crore of which only Rs 1,000 crore is driven by domestic sales, the rest of the Rs 4,000 crore comes in from exports.  But in this day and time, the modern Indian millennial is seeking healthier farm produce and traceability of their food from the farm straight to their table.

MeraKisan, a Mahindra-backed start-up is doubling down to serve just this market. Cricketer Ajinkya Rahane announced his investment of an undisclosed amount in company. CNBC-TV18’s Alisha Sachdev caught up with Ajinkya Rahane, MeraKisan founder Prashant Patil and Mahindra Agri Solutions' MD and CEO Ashok Sharma to find out more about India’s organic farming trail.
PhonePe, which is one of India’s largest UPI players, was caught in the middle of the Yes Bank storm last week. Its services faced an outage after Yes Bank was placed under a moratorium. PhonePe was partnering solely with Yes Bank till Thursday last week and had to move to a new banking partner ICICI Bank in a matter of 24 hours to resume services.
Now one sector that has had to take the worst hit on account of global coronavirus outbreak is the travel and tourism space. With the virus spreading to some of the more popular tourist destinations of the world like Singapore, South East Asia and Europe, CNBC-TV18’s Jude Sannith explores the kind of impact the outbreak has had on online travel agencies.
