US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order cracking down on censorship by social media sites. Trump said that he was signing the order to protect and uphold free speech in the country. Zuckerberg said that Facebook has no intention of fact-checking political speech even as Twitter boss Jack Dorsey stood by his stance after the social media platform flagged a pair of tweets by the US president with a fact-check label that said Trump’s tweets may mislead people into thinking they don’t need to register to get a ballot.
