Elda Health, a startup based in Bengaluru, has unveiled a groundbreaking report titled 'The State of Menopausal Health in India.' This digital femtech health company specializes in providing comprehensive support to women during their midlife menopausal and peri-menopausal stages.

The study conducted by Elda Health has brought to light some alarming statistics. It indicates that a staggering 98% of women in the menopausal age bracket primarily seek medical attention from gynecologists for issues related to heavy bleeding or vaginal discharge.
Unfortunately, symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flashes, sexual health concerns, and mental health issues, tend to be widely neglected.
Swathi Kulkarni, the co-founder and CEO of Elda Health, shared insights with CNBC-TV18, saying, "Our report, which is backed by extensive qualitative data from 25,000 women, has revealed that many women experience symptoms that they never discuss with gynecologists.
This highlights a significant awareness gap that Elda Health aims to bridge. Our approach is holistic, addressing not only physical health but also mental well-being, fitness, and nutritional needs."
In a separate development, the Bureau of Indian Standards has granted approval for India's first domestically created connector standard for 2 and 3-wheelers.
Ather Energy, a leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, is responsible for pioneering this connector standard. This milestone could pave the way for a universal electric vehicle charging system that can be adopted by various companies.
To gain more insights into this breakthrough, CNBC-TV18's Parikshit Luthra engaged in a conversation with Ather's co-founder, Swapnil Jain.
