VfB Stuttgart heats up Champions League qualification race with key win against VfL Wolfsburg
VfB Stuttgart saw their leading scroer Serhou Guirassy bag a brace as they beat VfL Wolfsburg by 3-2 on Saturday, further strengthening their grip on the third place in the Bundesliga standings and nearing Bayern Munich FC in the second spot.

Guirassy has now netted 20 goals in the German top-tier and he opened his accoutn in the aforementioned clash with a headed goal in the 14th minute.
Wolfsburg notched the equaliser five minutes into the second half, as Joakim Mahele rose to the occasion and shot in the ball from inside the box beyond custodian Alexander Nuebel.

Maehle brought Enzo Millot down inside the 18-yard box, handing a spot kick to Stuttgart, which Guirassy converted with ease. Josha Vagnoman found the back of the net to help his side get a two-goal lead, but Luka Nmecha kept the Wolfsburg hopes afloat with a goal in the final quarter of the proceedings.
