James Anderson becomes first pacer to take 700 Test wickets
England speedster James Anderson picked his 700th Test wicket and became the first pacer to do so in international cricket after he dismissed Kuldeep Yadav in the final match of the five-game series against the Men in Blue at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala on Saturday.

The 41-year-old veteran has played 187 Test matches, debuting for the Three Lions way back in 2003 against Zimbabwe at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground.
Across 348 innings, he scaled the unprecedented mark of 700 dismissals in the longest format of the game. He has picked 32 five-wicket hauls in his illustrious career. Thrice has the fast bowler notched 10 wickets across both innings of a Test.
 
With an economy of 2.79 and strike rate of 56.97, Anderson for long has been the leader of the pack for England in Test matches across different playing conditions. He played his last T20I for the nation in 2009 and 2015 was the last time he represented them in ODIs, thus limiting his focus to red-ball cricket, handing his career longevity.
