India dismantles Bazball in epic 4-1 series victory against England
India hammered England by an innings and 64 runs at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala to secure a 4-1 series victory over the visitors on Saturday.

After going down by 29 runs in the opening game in Hyderabad, the Men in Blue bounced back to win the following games in Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, and the hilly city, to dismantle the Bazball approach that helped the Three Lions come into this series high on confidence.
Despite missing Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami in this series, the Indian unit, strengthened by youngsters such as Dhruv Jurel, Sarfaraz Khan, Akash Deep, amongst others, rose to the occasion in different junctures of the series to help the Men in Blue to a memorable win.
The home team bowled out England for 218 in the first innings, with Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin joining hands to pick nine wickets between them. India responded solidly, with skipper Rohit Sharma (103) and Shubman Gill (110) bagging centuries, in addition to impressive cameos by Devdutt Padikkal (65) and Sarfaraz Khan (56) to help the home side to a 259-run lead in the first innings.
The Rohit-led side made light work of the Englishmen in the final innings of the game. Ashwin scalped five dismissals, thus taking a nine-wicket haul in his milestone 100th Test match, whereas Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep chipped in with a couple of wickets each. None of the English batters except Joe Root (84) showed any resistance, as the visitors were bundled out for 195 in the fourth innings.
