The Delhi High Court (HC) has directed its registry to convey to the former Indian national team skipper MS Dhoni after two of his former business partners have filed a defamation suit against him.
Plaintiffs Mihir Diwakar and his wife Soumya Das have took to the Delhi HC and they have sought a permanent injunction and damages against Dhoni, whilst also pursuing that multiple social media platforms and media houses are restrained from making, publishing, circulating per se defematory, ex facie false and malicious statements against the duo.
Justice Prathiba M Singh, before whom the plaint came up for hearing, was informed that Dhoni has not been served with the plea by the plaintiffs.
