Bayern Munich extends Eric Dier contract as German giants get English flavour

Bayern is second in the table this season after winning 11 Bundesliga titles in a row. They are seven points behind the unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen, who have also played an additional game as compared to their heavyweight rivals.

Bayern Munich extends Eric Dier contract as German giants get English flavour
English midfielder Eric Dier has made his move to Bayern Munich FC permanent after he made the minimum required number of appearances that was mentioned in his contract. Dier joined the Bavarians on loan in January, reuniting with his Tottenham Hotspur teammate Harry Kane who moved to Germany in the summer.

Bayern's board member for sport Max Eberl mentioned that Dier's deal with the club will now run until June 2025, with the seasoned player providing abundant support to the team in the defensive unit. Dier has already made five starts for Bayern, including seven appearances in total.
"I'm happy in Munich. Now my future is sorted and I can focus on playing well for the club and trying to help the club to win games, win competitions, even though it's been a difficult period for us," Dier said.
