Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday had also urged people, especially the students, to come forward and participate in the Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz. In the 105th episode of his monthly radio show, Maan Ki Baat, PM Modi said “I will request students to participate in Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz, which will help them to explore the country's lunar mission”.
The quiz aims to engage the participants in understanding the significance and successful outcomes of the Chandrayaan-3 mission.
Participants of the Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz will have to create an account on the MyGov portal and participate in a timed quiz that consists of 10 questions to be answered in 300 seconds in total. Participants of the quiz will get a certificate of appreciation. Apart from that, there will be additional cash prizes for the best performers.

How to register for Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz?
So far more than 16 lakh participants have registered for the quiz.
The quiz will be based on the Chandrayaan-3 mission that was launched by India on July 14 and landed successfully on the lunar surface on August 23. After landing, the lander and the rover along with the payloads onboard performed experiments within 14 days. Currently, both the lander and the rover after their respective experiments and study are now on sleep mode.
