September has turned to be a good month for most consumer-facing companies.
Speaking in a panel discussion on CNBC-TV18, Rajeev Singh, group business manager of Croma said that business in September was encouraging. He said October could see a further increase in footfalls at Croma outlets.
Speaking in the same discussion, Lalit Agarwal, CMD of V-Mart said his chain's performance in the second quarter was much better than the preceding quarter. He expected demand to pick up further this month.
