Air-conditioning major Blue Star and air cooler company Symphony Ltd is poised to report its financial results for the September quarter on Tuesday.
For both the companies, second quarter is seasonally strong with summer sales, but it's expected to be weak this time around.
For Blue Star, revenue growth of around 10 percent is expected. Margins are expected to remain steady at 5.5 percent mark and the profit will remain pretty much flat at the Rs 22 crore level.
The management had initially told CNBC-TV18 that Blue Star is looking at an annual growth of 15-20 percent, but that was brought down to 10 percent and now the industry estimates air-conditioning industry to grow by just 5 percent.
For Q1, Ahmedabad-based Symphony had reported very dismal set and the stock had seen a sharp beating and for Q2 also there is no respite for the scrip.
The management had told CNBC-TV18 at the end of Q1 that Symphony will be a bit of cautious in the coming quarters as well. Therefore, a profit decline of 18 percent is expected.
