Positive on housing finance sector, says Basant Maheshwari

Basant Maheshwari, author and Portfolio Manager of Basant Maheshwari Wealth Advisors , discusses with Anuj Singhal and Surabhi Upadhyay his analysis on the fundamental side of the market as well as specific stocks and sectors.

According to Maheshwari, "The problem is not with housing finance sector but with specific companies. Look at the results of Indiabulls Housing or Dewan Housing Finance (DHFL), the entire sector is growing at 15-17%. So when sector grows at 16-17%, it is very easy for companies to grow at 25-30%.

Maheshwari expects the housing finance sector to do well. He also spoke at length about Axis Bank, PC Jeweller, and Avenue Supermarts.
