Rajasthan elections 2023: A look at CM Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot’s total assets

Sachin Pilot filed his nomination from Tonk on October 31.

The voting for 200 Assembly seats in Rajasthan will be held in a single phase on November 25, while the results will be announced on December 3.

According to reports, out of the total declared assets worth ₹ 11.69 crore, CM Gehlot owns assets worth ₹ 10.27 crore while the rest of the properties belong to his wife, Sunita Gehlot.

Additionally, CM Gehlot mentioned that he has only ₹ 20,000 in cash while his wife has only ₹ 10,000 in cash. Apart from the cash in hand, Gehlot declared that his wife owns gold and silver jewellery worth ₹ 14.9 lakh while he himself owns jewellery worth ₹ 30,000. As per the details, the veteran Congress leader disclosed ₹1. 9 crore cash deposits in two bank accounts. According to the current CM’s affidavit submitted to the Election Commission, he does not own any vehicle.

Former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader Sachin Pilot owns total movable assets worth ₹ 5.7 crore and immovable properties worth ₹ 1.4 crore, according to reports.

His total assets include bank deposits worth₹ 1.8 crore and investments worth ₹2.4 crore. As per the election affidavit, Pilot’s annual income stood at ₹64.3 lakh in the financial year 2022-23. This income includes his earnings from agricultural income, financial investments and interest accruals.
