Over 1 crore distress calls made to the police between 2015 and 2017, NCRB data show

National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data has revealed 1.86 crore complaints were made to the police between 2015 and 2017.

Data further show that out of these 1.86 crore complaints, over one crore complaints were made over the phone or by dialling 100.
