"The government tried to show that it is serious about the issue of Manipur. I want to ask Union Home Minister that during his visit to Manipur, he had promised the people of the state that he would return after 15 days. What happened to his promise and the 10 proposals he to the people of Manipur at the time?," Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Union Home Minister Amit Shah's response on the Manipur issue.

Congress alleged that Sansad TV focussed on Rahul Gandhi's speech for less than 40% of the time he spoke in Lok Sabha on the no-confidence motion.

Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said Gandhi spoke for 37 minutes but was telecasted for only 14 minutes and 37 seconds.

"Rahul Gandhi spoke in Manipur for 15 minutes 42 seconds. During this, Sansad TV's camera focused on the Speaker Om Birla for 11 min 08 seconds i.e. 71 percent of the time. Sansad TV showed Rahul Gandhi on video for only 4 min 34 seconds while he spoke in Manipur," the Congress leader said.
