Telangana Congress President Anumula Revanth Reddy was sworned-in as  the next Chief Minister of Telangana after the grand old party registered a thumping majority in the Assembly election. In the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections, Congress emerged victorious in 64 of the total 119 seats, while the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) was restricted to 39 seats.
