Sharad Pawar's daughter and senior Nationalist Congress Party leader Supriya Sule has confirmed that the party has split. Sule announced on Whatsapp the split. "Party and family split," she messaged.
Ajit Pawar, the nephew of Sharad Pawar, is accused to have upstaged his uncle to ally with the BJP. The junior Pawar took oath as the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra on Saturday morning. However, several reports also quote sources to state that Sharad Pawar was in fact kept in the loop all along.
