Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to kick off his campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Bihar's Champaran on January 13, beginning with a rally at Raman Maidan in Bettiah city, sources have revealed.

During this visit, PM Modi is expected to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various projects, encompassing roads and bridges, across Bihar, as per party insiders.
The battle is set for all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, where the NDA secured 39 seats in the last elections, with the Congress winning one. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has outlined extensive plans for the elections, aiming for triumph in all 40 seats.
In the months of January and February, PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda are slated to address numerous rallies in Bihar.
Key rallies are anticipated post-January 15, following the lifting of campaigning restrictions.
Scheduled to address three rallies in Begusarai, Bettiah, and Aurangabad in the state, PM Modi is anticipated to kick-start the electoral fervour.
Amit Shah is also expected to address gatherings in Sitamarhi, Madhepura, and Nalanda during January and February, while JP Nadda might hold rallies, particularly in the Seemanchal and eastern regions of Bihar.
