Lok Sabha Election 2024 HIGHLIGHTS: NDA to sweep Hindi heartland, says News18 poll

The NDA voteshare is projected at 62%, according to a News18 opinion poll conducted across 518 constituencies, encompassing over 1.2 lakh respondents. The NDA is expected for a clean sweep in Haryana as it is expected to win all the 10 Lok Sabha seats.

In Karnataka, out of the 20 seats declared, 10 sitting MPs have been dropped from their respective seats, including Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje, who has been relocated from Udupi Chikkamagaluru to Bengaluru North. The status of former Union Minister Anantkumar Hegde from the Uttara Kannada seat remains undecided as it is yet to be announced.

According to the News18 Mega Opinion Poll, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Bihar tops the list with 32% of respondents expressing dissatisfaction with their sitting MPs, followed closely by Delhi at 31%, Odisha at 30%, Kerala at 29%, Maharashtra at 23%, and Gujarat at 20%. READ MORE

The poll surveyed 1,18,616 eligible voters all over India and found that jobs, inflation, law & order, corruption and religion are the top five factors that determine who they will vote for in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. READ MORE
