Former Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria (Retd) has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) the party headquarters in New Delhi. Bhadauria was welcomed into the political fold by BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde and Union Minister Anurag Thakur.
Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Bhadauria's entry into BJP ranks adds a notable figure to the party's roster, particularly in the lead-up to the upcoming elections. Alongside Bhadauria, former Member of Parliament from Tirupati, Varaprasad Rao, also pledged allegiance to the saffron party on the same day.

Bhadauria emphasised the transformative leadership of the BJP government during his tenure in the Indian Air Force. He commended the government's efforts in bolstering national security and modernising the Armed Forces, citing them as crucial steps towards enhancing India's global stature.
In his statement following the induction, Bhadauria stated, "I served the IAF for more than four decades, but the best time of my service was the last 8 years under the leadership of the BJP government." He highlighted the government's initiatives aimed at bolstering self-reliance within the armed forces, affirming their positive impact on ground capabilities.
BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde praised Bhadauria's distinguished service in the Indian Air Force, expressing confidence in his ability to actively contribute to the political arena following his tenure in the defense forces.
