-Manish Sisodia, who was the deputy chief minister in the outgoing AAP-led dispensation and led its education reform efforts, defeated his BJP rival Ravinder Singh Negi by over 3,000 votes, after initial hiccups.
-Raghav Chadha, who was fielded from the Rajinder Nagar constituency in place of the sitting AAP MLA, also defeated his BJP rival Sardar R P Singh.
-Rajendra Pal Gautam, who held the portfolio of social welfare minister in the outgoing Delhi government, defeated BJP ally Lok Jan Shakti Party's Sant Lal.
-AAP's S K Bagga won from the Krishna Nagar constituency where he was pitted against BJP's Anil Goyal.
-The Tri Nagar and Shalimar Bagh seats also went to Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Its Preeti Tomar won the Tri Nagar seat by 12,000 votes, while Bandana Kumari emerged victorious on the Shalimar Bagh seat by a margin of 800 votes.

Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari addressed a press conference after his party faced a crushing defeat at the hands of the Aam Aadmi Party in the national capital.
"I thank the people of Delhi. I thank our party workers for their hardwork, they've done a lot. I accept the mandate of people of Delhi & congratulate Arvind Kejrwial. I hope he'll perform well as per the expectations of the people," news agency ANI quoted him as saying.

A new kind of politics has emerged from the Delhi Assembly polls with people rewarding the party which built schools, hospitals and provided cheap electricity round-the-clock, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Tuesday, hailing AAP's landslide win as a victory of India.
"I love you," Kejriwal said in a brief address to joyous supporters and party workers at the AAP's headquarters in the national capital.
According to latest trends, AAP is leading in 63 out of 70 assembly seats while the BJP is ahead in seven constituencies.
"It is a victory of the people of Delhi who considered me their son... Lord Hanuman has blessed us. May god give us more strength to serve people of Delhi," he said.
He said the "politics of work" has taken birth in Delhi and the AAP's victory is of the entire country.
"Bharat mata ki jai...Inquilab zindabad," Kejriwal said as he started addressing the supporters. (PTI)
